Bio
Sandy is a registered nurse of 20+ years who has rediscovered the joy of playing piano through the Simply Music program. Teaching skills have been daily requirements in her vocations of nurse and homeschooling mom of four, so becoming a licensed Simply Music teacher seemed a natural thing to do after watching her son learn piano with this remarkable method.
Sandy took traditional piano lessons as a child, but frustrated with the level of play achieved and the lack of variety of music taught, switched to flute, piccolo and oboe. Throughout her life she has continued to enjoy playing music, but until discovering Simply Music, piano was not her favorite intstrument. Now, she is grateful to be able to play piano, and thrilled to offer this successful method to others.
Classes Offered
Simply Music level 1 classes are being offered through Arts For All, Inc. and through the Omaha Homeschool Learning Center, with the option of continuing with level 2 at Play Today Piano Studio.
Testimonials
Laura, age 12 Laura says of Simply Music: "so very easy to learn."
Mom, Barbara "My son has been enthusiastic about practicing!"
Mom, Beth "The experience has been positive--nice teacher, nice classmates...really appreciate the way the home materials back up the lesson."
